Adiyogi & Isha Yoga Center

Located just 15 minutes away from DVARA Siruvani, Adiyogi is located at the Isha Yoga complex which houses the Dhyanalinga in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu at the foothills of Velliangiri Mountains, a range in the Western Ghats. Isha Yoga Center is an ashram near the city of Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu. 

Marudhamalai Hill Temple

Located just 29 km from DVARA Siruvani, the temple has an excellent atmosphere. Lord Muruga is the main deity of the Marudhamalai Temple and is one of the must-visit places in Coimbatore. Vehicles are allowed to pass through the Marudhamalai temple and bus services are available from the bottom of the hill to the top to reach the temple. The major feature of this hill is that it grows important medicinal herbs, which are used extensively in making ayurvedic medicines.

Perur Shivan Temple

The Perur Siva Temple is situated around 20 km from DVARA Siruvani in the west of Coimbatore. The temple was built by the Karikala Cholan and has been constructed marvellously on the banks of the river Noyyal. The Perur Siva Temple has been dedicated entirely to lord Shiva and the deity in the shrine is called Patteeswaras and his Consort, Pachai Nayaki. 

The sawyers of Madurai constructed the buildings on the outer edge during the 17th century. The inner place of worship dates back to being centuries old and the temple has eye-catching figures of Indian soldiers in the avenue. The temple is also called Mel Chidambaram.

Vydehi Falls

The Vydehi waterfalls are situated just 18 km from DVARA Siruvani. People who pay a visit to Coimbatore must make it a point to visit the Vydehi waterfalls, as it is one of the most familiar waterfalls and is highly known for its magnificence. The falls have pulled towards itself a large number of visitors because of their scenic attraction and beauty.

Vellingiri Hill Temple

This revered hill temple is situated some 40 km away from the city Of Coimbatore and just 20 minutes from DVARA Siruvani. The temple has essentially been dedicated to lord Shiva and sits on Vellingiri Hill which has an imperial altitude of 6000 feet and is known for its exorbitant natural resources. The Vellingiri hill temple is contemplated to be the most conspicuous worship abode in and around Coimbatore and an immense number of tourist groups visit this hill temple to offer their prayers. Siruvani Waterfalls

At a distance of 36 km from Coimbatore Railway Station Siruvani Waterfalls (also called Kovai Kutralam Falls) are located in Siruvani Hills in Tamil Nadu. These falls formed by the Siruvani River are located in dense forests. The falls can be reached by about a 4 km trek from the nearest road point between Siruvani Dam and Madavarayapuram. The falls are best seen in the monsoon season between June and October. The upper part of the falls is with deep cliffs and tourists usually enjoy the beauty and bathing at the bottom of the falls. These falls are very close to Siruvani Dam (5 km away) which provides drinking water for Coimbatore City. The water of the Dam is famous for its sweetness.

Geedee Car Museum

Geedee Car Museum, situated 30 km from DVARA Siruvani, the museum houses every significant development in the car industry, from a replica of the first automobile in the world (1886 Benz Patent Motorwagen) to recent racing cars. There are over 70 models on display, of which around 30 are from G D Charitable Trust’s collection. And they are arranged chronologically, with documentation explaining the evolution of the automobile industry as a whole. If you are a car lover, this is the place to be.

Ooty

At a distance of 89 km from Coimbatore, Ooty is one of the best hill stations in India and also one of the top places to experience Tamilnadu Tourism. Also known as Udhagamandalam, Ooty is often referred to as the ‘Queen of hill stations’. Situated at an altitude of 7,440 feet (2,240 meters) above sea level, It is the capital of the Nilgiris district in the state of Tamilnadu. At an altitude of 6,000 feet above sea level, Coonoor is famous for its verdant environs and for a variety of wildflowers and birds. Palakkad

Palakkad, the Granary of Kerala, is one of the top Kerala tourist places. Parambikulam Wildlife Sanctuary

At a distance of 96 km from Coimbatore, Parambikulam Wildlife Sanctuary is located in the Palakkad district of Kerala. It is under consideration by UNESCO for selection as a World Heritage Site. Sprawling over 285 sq. Kms, it is situated adjacent to the Indira Gandhi Wildlife Sanctuary in Tamil Nadu. Topslip

At a distance of 76 km from Coimbatore, Topslip is a popular place located in the Annamalai mountain range in the Western Ghats in the Coimbatore district of Tamilnadu. It lies at an altitude of 2554 feet and is famous for its wildlife sanctuary and national park that are in proximity. Topslip is the Tiger Reserve Forest in a small part of Annamalai Tiger Reserve, which is separated from the Nilgiri Hills by Palghat Gap in the north.

It got its name during the British era, as lots of its timber slipped down to the plains below. Being a medical plant conservation area, it is famous for the elephant camp, wildlife safaris, pleasant weather and beautiful views of Annamalai Hills.

Aliyar Dam

At a distance of 64 km from Coimbatore, Aliyar Dam is a charming location surrounded by Annamalai Hills with incredible natural views. It is located between Pollachi and Valparai. Built across the Aliyar River between 1959 and 1969, the dam’s dam’s primary purpose is to support irrigation. The height of the dam is 81 meters. There is a well-maintained park built at the bottom of the Dam. The view of the Anamalai range around the reservoir is a feast for the eyes and the view of the coconut groves from the top of the dam is impressive. Boating is available here.
